Wedding Trends for 2014 – Lace Dresses, Backless Dress and Lace Back Dresses

I’m sure many of you have seen the trends of the wedding dresses.  There aren’t a whole lot of solid satin a-line dresses appearing in this years fashions.  If you are seeing satin, it’s most likely paired with a dramatic cut and a bold shape.  The biggest elements I see occuring are dresses covered with lace and vintage adornments, simple lines, dramatic cuts that hug the body and a lot of low back or backless dresses.  A lot of these elements are seen in dresses inspired by Downton Abbey, Great Gatsby, Old Hollywood glamour… That’s what’s appearing on the bridal cat walks.  And it seems as though the most loved dresses are the ones that are both lace and backless.
