This was a mega favourite bouquet of the year. I was lucky to get one bunch of black eyed anemones at my wholesalers. The bride had shown them to me that she loved them, but they just weren’t in the budget to get them imported for her single bouquet. There were only a few good stems in the bunch, so the groom got one for his boutonniere and the rest of them went in the bridal bouquet.

The bride also loved succulents – which even though they have been super popular in the last few years, I still like them. I think they bring a nice textural element to the bouquet. With heavy heads they don’t always stay in their place but these ones were perfect. I picked out four different shaped and sized succulents so there’d be one showing at each angle of the bouquet.

A lovely combination of flowers including Jana spray roses, a peachy-pinky ranunculus, blue eryngium, vendela roses, the various succulents, black-eyed anemones, silver dusty miller, asparagus plumosa and seeded eucalyptus.

Thank you to We are Fox Photography for the lovely images.

And these are just my quick snapshots my husband took moments before it was picked up!
