In anticipation of season 6 Game of Thrones….
I have watched all the seasons, up to date, of Game of Thrones. There are a lot of things to like about that show and a lot of things that are disturbing or frustrating. Being a florist, one of the things that annoys me most is that in the weddings the brides do not carry bouquets. I am sure there is cultural reasoning or something like that, but I can just imagine what Sansa and Margaery (twice) would have carried on their weddings.
No one liked Joffrey. He was a character that we were all just waiting for to die. But his lavish, over-the-top burgundy and gold wedding… And his bride in a silvery gown… Well, they just needed some more flowers! Just take a look at a few designs I put together for just that occasion. Their wedding, called The Purple Wedding, was a royal event and the King’s Landing Wedding of their time.
