Romantic Outdoor Autumn Wedding
Well… That was the plan. Kelsey and Daniel got married on that freaky hot day in September. It was 34 C on Saturday, September 23, 2017 and their wedding was so beautiful despite the sweat factor. It still had that classic romantic vibe, but it no way did it feel like autumn. I love being a florist for a wedding that I love. There were a lot of little touches and details that brought this event to life for the happy couple and all their guests.
This was a #flowerseverywhere wedding. Bar, welcome table, guest table, multiple signs, ceremony, head tables, personal flowers, body flowers…. There was basically flowers everywhere! Because of style preferences and budget we decided to simplify guest tables to include a mix of foliages surrounding a few mercury glass votives for candles. Head table had a garland across the front filled with more glass votives spaced with the bouquets for additional decor. My favourite arrangements were the ceremony baskets placed front and centre for the drop-dead gorgeous ceremony location to behind the head table for the reception.
