Miranda & Bennet

Some absolutely gorgeous flowers were used for Miranda & Bennet’s wedding flowers.
They DIY’ed their bud vases and then I made the bouquets, body flowers, ceremony arrangements. They picked up their DIY flowers and their wedding order to save on delivery costs. If you have a big enough vehicle and a small enough of wedding, I am happy to provide pick-up service.
We accented with some pricey feature florals like burgundy scabiosa and burgundy/plum ranunculus.
We also used:
- Hearts Roses
- Pink Floyd Roses
- Purple Jewel Spray Roses
- That’s Red Jewel Spray Rose – they were a bit squished upon arrival and needed every bloom blown open
- Hot Pink Majolica Spray Roses were unavailable I was was subbed with a tiny headed local spray rose. They weren’t what I wanted, but they were a nice pop of even brighter pink
- Lisianthus in a dark purple colour. I only ended up using these in the big arrangements opposed to the bouquets. They weren’t working.
- Magenta or Fuschia stock (matthiola) were used in all the bouquets and large arrangements
- I ordered Minerva Carnations but received Purple Pixel – they still worked well
- Lots of blue Eryngium (thistle)
- Bright purple Statice
- Waxflower in purple which I only ended up using in the body flowers since they looked too rustic with the bouquets
- Added burgundy hypericum
- Added purple mini carnations
Greens I used were:
- Asparagus Plumosa
- Israeli Ruscus
- Italian Ruscus
- Leather
- Nagi
- Parvifolgia
- Salal
- Seeded Eucalyptus
