So my new favourite thing is decorating cakes with flowers.  I’ve done it a few times in the last few months.  I feel as though it’s a lot of pressure, because you can’t fix it or change it once you’ve placed a flower – icing and cake is marked…. But fresh flowers make a cake look so pretty!

I really loved decorating for Lisa & Don’s private wedding.  It took place at Culinaria in Mississauga and had a romantic cozy atmosphere for their 30 guests.  Their children were their bridal party and everyone had flowers.

We decorated the long tables with a eucalyptus based table runner scattered with different sizes of candles in vases.  It was well thought out for a cold February evening.

Flowers used: anemones, silver brunia, vendela roses, spray roses, lisianthus, tulips, ranunculus, waxflower, eryngium, dusty miller, eucalyptus and nagi.
